We have been organizing volunteers from Burlington since the beginning of September to help our neighbors down south who have been hit hard by Irene. After helping people around the state and seeing the devastation firsthand, we created this website where people can post their personal stories so we can keep the need for donations and volunteers alive in everyone’s minds and hearts as time goes on. We will be continuing to volunteer as much as we can, and through this site we want to get even more people informed and inspire them to get involved, especially as winter approaches.
